Wheels Material
The choice of wheel material needs to be considered comprehensively based on specific load-bearing requirements, ground environment, shock absorption/noise requirements, chemical resistance requirements, cost budget and other factors.

Wheel Diameter
Millimeter (mm) is the industry standard, and inches (Inch) is used as an auxiliary reference (1 inch = 25.4mm). Emphasis: Accurate marking and conversion are essential.
Common specifications: 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 200mm, 250mm, 300mm, 400mm, 500mm or even larger. Supplement: When choosing, you need to consider the load-bearing capacity, ground conditions, and equipment size. Small wheel diameter (<75mm) is often used for light precision equipment; medium wheel diameter (100-200mm) is the most widely used; large wheel diameter (>250mm) is used for heavy-duty, outdoor or high-travel requirements.
Caster Mounts

industrial casters Bearing Type
The bearing is the core rotating component of the caster, which directly affects the flexibility, load-bearing capacity, durability and maintenance requirements.
- Trelon / Polymer Bearing
- Roller Bearing
- Ball Bearing
- Needle Bearing
- Plain Bearing / Sleeve Bearing

Brake Type
- Wheel Lock / Wheel Brake: Acts directly on the wheel to stop it from rolling.
- Total Lock / Combination Brake: Has both wheel brake and steering lock functions. When pressed, the wheels are locked and the stand cannot turn (directional lock).
- Side Brake / Swivel Lock: Only the steering function of the stand is locked, the wheels can still roll freely (can only move in a straight line).
Load Capacity
- Light Duty: Single wheel load ≤ 100 kg (common range 16kg – 100kg). Suitable for office furniture, small trolleys, light shelves.
- Medium Duty: Single wheel load 100 kg – 300 kg. Suitable for storage cages, medium-sized carts, general industrial equipment, instrument tables.
- Heavy Duty: Single wheel load 300 kg – 800 kg (common range 300kg – 650kg). Suitable for heavy shelves, large industrial equipment, machine tools, forklift accessories.
- Extra Heavy Duty: Single wheel load 800 kg – 2000 kg (common range 800kg – 1500kg). Suitable for large machinery, pressure vessels, heavy platform vehicles.
- Super Heavy Duty / Industrial: Single wheel load ≥ 2000 kg (common range 2000kg – 5000kg or even higher). Suitable for extremely heavy loads such as the steel industry, large presses, ships, special vehicles.

industrial casters Mobility
One-way movement: The bracket cannot rotate, and the wheels can only roll in a fixed direction (usually forward and backward).
Steering type: The bracket can rotate 360° freely through the steering bearing (usually a ball bearing).
