How to Select the Right Undermount Glides

Important Notes:

• Match Drawer Box Depth: The depth of your drawer box should match the length of the drawer glides (e.g., 21″ length glides = 21″ deep drawer box).
• Notch and Bore Option: If you’re considering undermount glides, please select the “notch and bore option” when ordering your drawer boxes.
• Minimum Width Requirement: The minimum inside width of the drawer box for these glides is 7″ W. If your drawer box is narrower than this, the two locking devices will not fit.
• Length Increments: These glides are available only in 3″ increments (12″, 15″, 18″, and 21″).
• Common Cabinet Depth: The standard kitchen cabinet depth is 24″. For cabinets of this depth, we recommend using 21″ length glides. As a rule of thumb, Blum recommends selecting slides that are 3″ shorter than the cabinet depth.
