Goodich drawer slides are mainly of two types: C-type and I-type. C-type has three components: the outer frame element, the drawer element (slide), and the middle section that allows extension. I-type slides consist of fixed and mobile slides and a central mobile metal element, which is ideal for easy extraction of heavy objects.

Unlike drawer slides, runners move and guide elements such as doors or protective covers longitudinally. Drawer slides ensure the smooth sliding of drawers and trays. Note that guides can install individually, while drawer slides must be installed in pairs. You can install standard sliding guides vertically, but slides have that as an option. Sliding guides are not available with mechanical locks.

Installation Guide

We have tested this quality product in an Australian environment. Here are the important installation notes:

• Marking hole locations: Do not drill through the slide holes when installing as this will create metal shavings which may cause poor operation and failure.
• Recommended Fasteners: Use stainless steel “flat head” hex screws and NY lock nuts or stainless steel rivets, depending on the substrate.
• Avoid rubbing: Make sure the fixings do not rub against the moving slide as this can cause failure.
• Mounting Orientation: Install our slides horizontally, pairing them side by side for optimal performance. Vertical or flat placement will void the warranty.
